Sanctions: Know Your Transaction. Along with AML: Know Your Risk and Anti-Bribery: Know Your Deal, the course drops users into a set of immersive scenarios to test their knowledge, understanding and ability to comply with new sanctions law.

The UK Parliament passed the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act in 2018 to get the UK sanctions regime ready for when the UK leaves the European Union. The number and type of businesses who are subject to UK sanctions rules have rapidly expanded, as have the penalties available for those who breach the rules, from monetary penalties to criminal prosecution.

The course is broken into five minute modules that cover different aspects of bribery. Each module contains a simulation of real sanctions dilemmas with key learning points related to the scenario. There are up to six modules available, depending on the learning needs of each user, including:

The new course enables users to accrue experience points as they work through various sanctions scenarios.
