How you feel on any given day can be caused and influenced by so many different factors, with work often being one of the most significant of those factors. A mental health study carried out by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found a total of 12.8 million working days were lost as a result of work-related stress during a 12-month period in 2018/19. In recent times, mental health issues have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mental Health: Wellbeing at Work is designed to give users an understanding of some of the causes of stress at work, what can happen when it’s not dealt with and how employees and employers can help reduce unnecessary stress and improve wellbeing at work. The course can be fully customised to enable employers to add relevant policies, procedures, links and information they want to communicate to their staff around mental health and wellbeing. Further, the course begins with a course builder to allow users to take a course specific to those working from home. It has been nominated for the InsideOut mental health award in the Best Use of Technology category.

Protect your organisation from the next phishing attack Research shows that 64% of staff are either high or medium risk of falling victim to a phishing attack. Even if your organisation’s IT department is doing everything to make their computer system safe, one employee can bring down the organisation by falling prey to a phishing scam. For example, simply clicking on a PDF attachment can compromise your account details, as well as that of your colleagues, friends and family. This five minute micro-course is an updated version of the Phishing Challenge with new emails based on recent threats. It is a hands-on, practical challenge in which users learn how to identify a phishing threat. Through a series of real phishing emails, users are quizzed on the common red flags that appear in scam emails. This course is in English. |
