Course Description:

Two years after the implementation of the European Regulation 2016/679 for the protection of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), the appointed Data Protection Officers have realized their responsibility towards the Company and the Law. In the performance of their duties they have realized that in addition to knowledge they must possess additional qualifications in order to be able to recognize mistakes, prevent leaks and be imposed on all layers of the business hierarchy.

 

Course Objectives:

At a Knowledge Level:

  1. Express their guidance regarding the protection of personal data in a way that is understandable.
  2. They separate the violations of the Regulation according to their level of seriousness

At a Skills Level:
  1. Perform their duties more constructively
  2. Demonstrate their knowledge to other executives of the company
  3. Document their advice to management and staff,

At an Approach Level:
  1. They defend their advice to the Board of Directors of the Company Participate in the decision-making process concerning the protection of personal data
 

The course is addressed to:

  • Data Protection Officers (DPOs) of companies that must be appointed by DPOs and
  • Persons in charge of personal data protection in companies that are not required to appoint DPOs.
 

This course covers 8 topics.
