Andreas Andreou

Andreas Andreou is a financial services executive with more than two decades of diversified experience across banking, insurance, investment management and the card acquiring and payments industry, gained in multicultural and highly regulated environments.

He currently serves as Interim CEO and Director of Finance & Investment Banking at Cyprus Investments and Securities Corporation (CISCO), where he leads strategic planning aligned with ICARA and risk appetite, oversees operational performance and engages continuously with regulators, auditors and tax authorities.

Previously he acted as Deputy to the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Cyprus Group with oversight of the UK, Russian and local subsidiaries, working to ECB, CBC, PRA and FCA expectations. His work covered group-wide risk management frameworks, risk appetite and policies, ICAAP, ILAAP and Solvency II challenge, Pillar III and sustainability risk reporting, the €5.8bn Project Helix I securitisation and the controlled wind-down of the group's Russian subsidiary. Earlier, at Laiki Bank, he headed Private Banking Operations & Custody and Treasury Operations & Treasury Finance, and served as Group Treasury Lead Auditor across Cyprus, the UK and Australia.

Andreas has served on boards and audit, risk and ALCO committees of banking, insurance, asset management and payments entities, and brings this governance perspective directly into the training room.
