Understanding HRDA Training
The Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus operates training schemes designed to support the development of human resources in Cyprus. Training providers and programmes can be approved under HRDA requirements, and certain schemes provide financial support towards approved training.
Eligibility and subsidy conditions depend on the applicable scheme and the specific programme — which is why the most useful next step is usually a short conversation about what you need.
HRDA approval of a programme does not automatically mean that every employer or participant is eligible for funding. Eligibility and subsidy amounts are subject to the applicable HRDA scheme, terms and conditions.

Training programmes can be approved by HRDA. IPE is an approved Vocational Training Centre and marks approved programmes clearly in the catalogue.
Whether an employer or participant is eligible, and on what terms, depends on the applicable HRDA scheme rather than on the programme alone.

How It Works
Select an IPE programme that is approved under the applicable HRDA scheme.
Confirm whether you are participating through an employer, as a self-employed professional, as an unemployed person referred by the Public Employment Service, through an Individual Learning Account, or without HRDA funding.
Reserve your place through the IPE seminar registration page. This booking does not replace the official ERMIS application.
The employer or participant submits the appropriate application and any required supporting information through the HRDA ERMIS system.
Participants seeking funding must meet the applicable programme and attendance requirements. Subsidised participation generally requires at least 75% attendance.
After the programme, IPE submits the required grant claim information and supporting records. Approved grants are paid by HRDA to the training provider according to the relevant authorisation.
Submitting a booking through the IPE website does not replace the official application required through the HRDA ERMIS system.

How Pricing Is Shown
For eligible employers and self-employed participants under the Multi-Company Training Programmes – Standard scheme, funding is calculated at 80% of the eligible participation fee, subject to a maximum subsidy of €20 per training hour. The lower applicable amount determines the grant.
If the HRDA application is not approved, the remaining programme fee may become payable.
Participation routes
HRDA approval of a programme does not automatically confirm the eligibility of every employer or participant. Final eligibility depends on the applicable scheme, the participant’s circumstances, the required ERMIS application and compliance with all programme conditions.
