Sustainability reporting

ESG and Sustainability Reporting Training for Accountants

Sustainability reporting has moved from voluntary disclosure into the finance function. The EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards put ESG information on a similar footing to financial information — prepared from defined standards, supported by evidence, and subject to assurance. Accountants and auditors are therefore being asked to build data trails, controls and disclosures for topics their systems were never designed to capture. Scope thresholds and timelines have been subject to EU amendment, so confirm which requirements apply to a specific entity and reporting year before acting on a summary. This page outlines what our programmes cover and lists the sessions currently scheduled.
