This course introduces you to the concept of “information security” and how to implement information security best practice according to the international standard ISO27001.
The course consists of five modules:
1) Introduction to Information Security
2) Threats, Vulnerability and Risk
3) Information Security Good Practice
4) Final Assessment
5) Conclusion
Modules 2 and 3 explore different areas of risk that you may come across in your day-to-day work and explain how to apply controls to reduce those risks. Specifically, you will become familiar with best practice when it comes to:
- email composition and cybercrime;
- social engineering;
- using the internet at work;
- social networking;
- mobile devices; and
- passwords.
Ultimately, this course will help you to maintain a secure work environment for the firm and all of its clients. The course can be completed in 60 minutes.
