 Course description:

Its crucial within any given company for its managers (apart from the HR Department) to have a basic knowledge on the matters relating to labour law and industrial relations as managers and senior officers will frequently required to take decisions, provide advice, and handle issues referring to employees’ rights, duties, grievances, disciplinary matters, terminations of employment and so on. Lack of this basic labour law knowledge can result to wrongful, unjust, and costly decisions for the organization!

This seminar does not require of any pre legal/law knowledge.

Course Objective

Through this seminar participants will have the opportunity to be informed on the main labour laws which may influence their day-to-day exchanges with their colleagues. More specifically, after completion of the seminar participants will be able to

  1. Understand the basic principles of Employment Law.
  2. Understand how these impact on their line of business and overall organization  

At a skills level:

  1. Utilize the knowledge attained within the seminar in relation to employment law

  1.  Defend their views and guide the business in the right decisions
  2. To participate in the decision-making process concerning employment issues
